Ms. Heaphy's 6th class were busy this week preparing care packages to be sent to a local nursing home to those who don't have family to visit them at Christmas time.
Each child wrote a thoughtful message in their handmade Christmas cards which went into the care package along with a festive handmade Christmas wreath! We also included a copy of our Christmas poem that we will be performing at this year's Christmas show along with some sweets as an extra surprise.
We hope we will make at least one person's Christmas a little bit brighter!
