Ms. Dean's fourth class had an excellent virtual tour of the Natural History Museum also known as the 'The Dead Zoo'. Geraldine taught us so much about extinction, conservation and gave us lots of facts about the 168 year old museum. We learned that Ireland once had mammoths, hyenas and Giant Irish Deer! She showed us mammoth and megalodon teeth, a wolf skin and some coprolite. We can't wait to visit the zoo in person when it reopens after its renovations.
