We went on a class trip to Leinster House! We got a tour of the whole place and it was so cool. The building took three years to build and it is two hundred and seventy four years old! We saw where the government works and it felt like we were on the news. We also learned about how to get involved in politics and how to help makes changes in society. After that we went to the workshop where the big decisions are made, we got to create fake scenarios and we even got to bang the wooden hammer. We learned lots of important skills for debating. We then got the train back to school. It was a great day!
